Ice toads are frogs that, through a strange magical phenomenon, have gained immunity to cold and generate an intense cold. They sometimes work as pets for frost giants or other beings of the snowy lands.
Ice toads are 8-foot-long toads with sharp teeth and a warty skin, ranging in color from icy blue to grayish black. They always appear to be shaking, as if cold.
Ice toads usually attack caribou or elk, but opt for smaller game, such as snowshoe hares. These creatures are generally timid and usually run if outnumbered. In groups, ice toads are more vicious, attacking anything that moves.
Ice toads are quite adaptable and can survive in any cold enviroment, but are pechant to being close to cold water
