Unlike the usual halflings, this special people have fallen to the evil ways. They are usaully a little taller and thinner than other halflings. Green eyes are predominant.

These Halflings are almost completly given over to evil. They range in height from 3 to 4 feet tall, are lean and have dark brown or black hair. Males range in weight from 70-110 pounds and females weigh between 60-90 pounds. What stands out most are that females and males both have clear green eyes which can stand to confuse and distract enemies. Their way of life is violent, with many conflicts and seemingly endless training for battle. They have a life expectancy of 500 years.

These people eat manly venison, berries and bird eggs. They drink water mainly as a rule, but if a passing human or elf is captured, they will enjoy any spirits on them before they kill the captive. They enjoy wealth, and before captives are killed, they are tortured to provide information on any wealth they might know of.

As a rule, they can be found in temperate areas, mainly in little towns in the forest, deep in a secluded grove. Many of the good aligned people of the forest will band together to drive out these halflings if ever they are found to have moved in. They are usually on good terms with neighboring evil beings, using them for protection and in turn passing information to the creatures through use of their skills at observation and stealth.

Combat
The halflings hunt and forage as a group, led by a warrior and there will be between 10-24 at a time out in the woods. When encountering an enemy, they like to get the upper edge. With them, they will have the daughter of the High Priestess. This child is used to lure enemy's to them. She is sent out to where the approaching group will see her and she proceeds to cry and call for help, having supposedly been caught in a trap she sets up herself. As she is endowed with her mothers charm spell, any person and animal above animal intelligence will try to help the small child. When they set to helping her, the group descends and attacks, counting on the first surprise attack. They attack with bows and swords, and their silence in the forest gives them a 98% of not being observed.

The halflings have the ability to move silently through their forest home, giving them a +5 on surprise rolls.

Society
The society of the evil halflings is a violent one, with the various houses and groups constantly fighting for supremacy. They serve the High Priestess, and hail her as a Goddess come to earth, following her every whim. She is a decendant of the first High Priestess through a pure bloodline and only the bravest and hardiest male may be her husband, though he does not have real power. She is the most beautiful of all halfling women and the women generally pray to her for any beauty she can spare them.Any sons she has are immune to everyday fighting and are taught as warriors. She will have as many children as it takes to have a daughter, then she will dout on her baby girl, and the daughter will have everything she wants. She is sent out on patrols for battle situations, but always has powerful spells for her protection, never getting involved in the battles. She is worshipped along with her mother and only she will be the High Priestess.
