These creatures will take your body and soul. Literally!

These creatures of darkness are humaniod with blandish features, like dopplegangers. Some even speculate that they are an offshoot of dopplegangers, though their powers are much more intense. These creatures feed solely on meat, and when it's not killing for food, it's killing for fun. It does this by trapping a creatures spirit, and watching it die. They prefer darker places to live, and have lairs filled with places to hide, just in case.

Combat
It tries to hide first, and get the jump on PC's. It will attack normally with it's attacks, but each round will try to move in to use it's tongue attack. By tasting a creatures flesh and/or blood, it can use all of it's special abilities.

Shapechangers have darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

Spirit Link: Will DC 25 to negate. The Spirit Linker links to the creatures spirit. For each creature, they can do one of the following. Link HP, so damage dealt to Spirit Linker is also dealt to creature. Link Senses, so everything target creature sees, hears, tastes, feels, and smells is also experienced by Spirit Linker. Link Minds, as spell detect thoughts. Link Bodies, so the Spirit Linker can assume the form of creature. Withhold Soul, the Spirit Linker keeps the soul from the body, and subject must make a fortitude DC 15 every hour to keep from dying. After each hour, subject may make another will save to reclaim soul.

Body Snatch: Fortitude DC 25 to negate. Spirit linker can steal the body of target creature, leaving them with a shriveled body. Creature gets -6 to str, dex, con, and -4 to cha. Spriit Linker must have 24 hours to complete a body snatch, and must wait that long before it can try again after a failed attempt. Only one body snatch can be preformed at a time.

Alternate form: Can assume the form of anyone the Spirit Linker has stolen a body from, or has that type of Spirit link with.
