A hideous metal construct infused with the malevolent mind of its creator, the Mutilator is hell-bent on destroying all things good and beautiful.

The Mutilator is what you get when you fashion a huge suit of armor from pitch-black, magical metal, put a sword in its right hand, turn its left hand into a monstrous claw, give it wings and infuse it with a thoroughly evil mind. The exact details of the making of a Mutilator have (fortunately) been lost in time, but some of them are still around, mercilessly hunting down everything they see as beautiful, good, or both.

The Mutilator, being a (albeit intelligent) construct does not eat, drink, breathe or rest. That way, it can go on with its endless mission of, well, mutilating non-stop. The Mutilator's entire life revolves around the sadistic slaughter of beautiful and good things. The gorgeous elf-maid, the handsome vampire and the adorable little kender girl are all equally attractive targets, although Mutilators have sometimes been observed choosing females as over males as their victims. If you, for some reason that I can't possibly imagine, want to FIND a Mutilator, you should hang around in an elven community, a dryad forest or the domain of a nymph; sooner or later a Mutilator will show up to do its job.,The Mutilator is what you get when you fashion a huge suit of armor from pitch-black, magical metal, put a sword in its right hand, turn its left hand into a monstrous claw, give it wings and infuse it with a thoroughly evil mind. Combat
The Mutilator wants every death it causes to be as gruesome and painful as possible, so it mainly uses its deformed claw or razor-edged wings when fighting/torturing weak, frail things like nymphs. However, when faced with actual opposition, the Mutilator will use its sword. Hard.

Constrict: With this special attack, the Mutilator can crush an opponent, dealing 3d6 bludgeoning damage, after making a successful grapple check.

Energy Drain: This attack saps a living opponent’s vital energy and happens automatically when a melee attack hits. Each successful energy drain bestows one negative level. If an attack that includes an energy drain scores a critical hit, it drains twice the amount. A draining creature gains 5 temporary hit points (10 on a critical hit) for each negative level it bestows on an opponent. These temporary hit points last for a maximum of 1 hour. An affected opponent takes a –1 penalty on all skill checks and ability checks, attack rolls, and saving throws, and loses one effective level or Hit Die and Charisma (whenever level is used in a die roll or calculation) for each negative level. A spellcaster loses one spell slot of the highest level of spells she can cast and (if applicable) one prepared spell of that level; this loss persists until the negative level is removed. Negative levels remain until 24 hours have passed or until they are removed with a spell, such as restoration. If a negative level is not removed before 24 hours have passed, the negative level goes away, but the creature’s level is also reduced by one.

Mutilator Fear Aura: The Mutilator's Fear Aura is different from the usual in the way that it freezes only creatures with a Charisma score of 14 or higher.

Mutilator Frightful Presence: This special quality makes a creature’s very presence unsettling to foes with, yet again, a Charisma score of 14 or higher. The Mutilator can cast it at will. Charismatic opponents within range may become frightened or shaken. The range is 40 feet, and the duration is 5d6 rounds. This effect cannot be resisted. Frightful presence is a mind-affecting fear effect.

Detect Good: This special ability duplicates the effects of a

Society
Although Mutilators can function within a society, seeing as they are capable of speech, they are usually solitary. Should two Mutilators ever cross paths, it is possible that they would band together, seeing as there is hardly anything else in the world that would be on a Mutilator's side except another Mutilator.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
