The scoutbot's fuselage is shaped like a flat cigar, wider at its front end and tapering off at the rear. A airfoil is mounted on the rear. The front is mounted with a single plasma net cannon, and a swivel Laser Eye Beam turrent is mounted on the bottom.

The scoutbot has a metallic black fuselage, fixed with two narrow wings and a tall airfoil on the back end. The front end is mounted with glowing, neon green Plasma Net cannon, and a swivel turrent on the bottom side is mounted with single Laser Eye Beam turrent. For and aft of this laser turrent are spotlights and sensor arrays. Frequency transmitters and more sensor arrays are mounted along the top surface.,The scoutbot has a metallic black fuselage, fixed with two narrow wings and a tall airfoil on the back end. Combat
The scoutbots are generally sent out to find and/or destroy humanoid settlements. In larger incursions, they are sent in with Laser Eyes blazing. The Laser Eye turrents are capable of Multifire and Autofire (i.e., the scoutbot can make up to 4 attacks per round: Single +3,Rapid Shot +1/+1, Multifire -1/-1/-1, or Autofire -3/-3/-3/-3). Scoutbots are sometimes sent into areas before battlebots, seeking humanoids and trapping them with plasma nets. Scoutbots can also be programmed to patrol certain areas, and contact its homebase if any humanoids are found.

Plasma Net (Ex): Once per round the scoutbot can fire a plasma net from a forward mounted cannon. Range 130 ft. The net has a 20' radius spread. A Reflex save vs. DC 13 avoids the net. Failing the save means the target has been covered by the net and suffers -2 penalty to all attack rolls, -4 to effective Dexterity, and can't move. A Strength check DC 20 or an Escape ARtist check DC 25 is enough to pull the strands of plasma apart and disperse the net, letting the target free. The net will be in existance for 30 minutes.

A construct possesses the following traits (unless otherwise noted in a creature's entry).

  • No Constitution score.
  • Immunity to all mind-affecting effects (charms, compulsions, phantasms, patterns, and morale effects).
  • Immunity to poison, sleep effects, paralysis, stunning, disease , death effects, and necromancy effects.
  • Cannot heal damage on their own, but often can be repaired by exposing them to a certain kind of effect (see the creature's description for details) or through the use of the Craft Construct feat. A construct with the fast healing special quality still benefits from that quality.
  • Not subject to critical hits, nonlethal damage, ability damage, ability drain, fatigue, exhaustion, or energy drain.
  • Immunity to any effect that requires a Fortitude save (unless the effect also works on objects, or is harmless).
  • Not at risk of death from massive damage. Immediately destroyed when reduced to 0 hit points or less.
  • Since it was never alive, a construct cannot be raised or resurrected.
  • Constructs do not eat, sleep, or breathe.
