A large slumbering beast looks towards you its legs resemle those of a small elephant just wit claws it doesn't have any neck or any facial features except for a large mouth covered with daggerlike teeth.

The Shadow Guardian is a guard creature favored by many noble men with wealth. It has a long muscular body and clawed elephant like feet it has no neck or other facial feature except for a large mouth with daggerformed teeth, its skin is grey and rough and quite hard.

The Shadow Guardian is quite loyal if trained correct, and its power to go to the ethereal plane is 2 of the reasons to use as a guard the beasts are strong combatants and usually never stop fighting before the prey is dead. ,The Shadow Guardian is a guard creature favored by many noble men with wealth. Combat
They find their prey using their plane tremorsense on the ethereal plane and then step into the material world and bite and claw the opponent until either of them is dead.

Powerfull charge (ex): When a Shadow Guardian charges it deals double damage because of its immense strength and weight.

Damage Reduction (Su): The Shadow Guardian has 10/- Damage reduction and can reduce any non-energy damage.

Spells-like Abilities (Sp): At will-Ethereal jaunt (with infinite duration)

Plane Tremorsense (Ex): This 60 ft. radius tremorsense works like the normal version except the Shadow Guardian can feel creatures on the material although it is on the ethereal plane or vice versa.

Society
The creatures live on the ethereal plane hunting ethereal filchers or marauders or other ethereal monsters for food,they usually live on the ethereal plane but sometimes they also set up a lair on the material plane. their pack is controlled by the biggest of them all leading the pack in hunts or the like but sometimes times if used as guards he/she functions as a guard captain if more than one Guardian is protecting an area.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
