You know griffons? (well, of course you do.) Dracogriffs are like griffons, except they're not part eagle, part lion - they're part dragon, part lion.

You know griffons? (well, of course you do.) Dracogriffs are like griffons, except they're not part eagle, part lion - they're part dragon, part lion. Their dragon parts are usually black. They live alone in the forest, talking with none except for whomever they deem 'worthy'. If you approach one and you are not worthy in its eyes, you suddenly become very afraid of it and are seized by an irresistible urge to run away. If it does find you worthy, it will become your friend and servant. They make great companions, not just because they are very powerful but because they are intelligent and fun-loving.,You know griffons? (well, of course you do.) Combat
Dracogriffs have great magical ability, but they will not use it unless they are trained to like it. They would rather make use of their powerful bodies. They have sharp horns, claws, and teeth, and use their muscular limbs to trample their enemies flat. However, if they are convinced to use their magic, they can be taught powerful black magic spells.

Magical beasts have darkvision with a range of 60 feet and low-light vision.

Frightful Presence (Ex) This only works against 'unworthy' people; to its friends it is not frightening at all.
Gaze (Su) Dracogriffs can use a deep penetrating gaze to frighten their enemies.
Spells (Sp) Dracogriffs mainly use black magic spells, although they are not necessarily evil themselves.
Trample (Ex) Dracogriffs use their powerful bodies to trample their enemies.

Society
Dracogriffs usually live alone, and rarely mate, which is why they themselves are so rare.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
