Liff is a floating ball of fluff. He looks cute, and all who see him feel an urge to go 'Awwwwwwwwwww'.

He doesn't do much, but when he bumps into a wall (which is often), he goes 'meep'. If caught, he can meep indignantly, but can be kept safely in a pouch. If hugged, he meeps happily.

He doesn't seem to need to sleep or breathe or even eat. He doesn't seem to have any means of telling where he is, which may explain his tendency to bump into things and seek someone to protect him from harm. Actually, how does he make the meeping noise? Actually, how does he do *anything*? He's a floating ball of fluff. But sooooooooo cuuuuuute!!!

Liff was created in a spellcasting accident when a kender threw her favourite dagger at a dwarven mage, turning the dagger into Liff and the unfortunate dwarf's feet into fish. Combat
He doesn't really fight. If he did, he would do a mighty slam attack, with an angry 'meep'. This would do no damage, but his opponent would have to realise how CUUUUTE he is and stop attacking him. If possible, he will hide behind someone he likes or in someone's pocket at the first sign of danger.

Cute - Will save at DC 38 to be able to attack anything that cute. This will save is negated in the case of all kender. No kender would EVER attack Liff. He's too cute.

Liff gets a +11 racial bonus to Sense Motive, as he's really good at finding nice people to follow. He also gets a +4 bonus to Hide (included in stats) in people's pockets and pouches. No one can find Liff in a pouch if he's hiding...

Society
As he's the only one, the closest Liff gets to society is the individual he chooses to follow around. He knows who he likes, though no one really knows why or how he makes this choice, and will happily follow them anywhere, seemingly flawless in being able to find them. He likes being hugged, and doesn't like being shoved in a pouch, unless he's hiding.

This creature has been play tested.
