Similar in size and appearance to the Raven, Dravens are predatory birds working in flocks to take down large prey, picking their bones clean.

Jet black from tip to tail, including the beak, Dravens are only a threat in groups of 10 or more. They can often be seen near large, freshwater bodies, roosting in many numbers. Found in any temperate clime, Dravens prefer plains and hills.

Dravens are purely carnivorous, feasting on any manner of meat they can find. Fresh meat is preferred, carrion is tolerated. A sure sign that a flock of Dravens is in the area are skeletons picked absolutely clean.

Combat
Dravens flock together before they hunt. They swoop down in large numbers and swarm the prey, flapping and squawking in front of the face and all around. The prey becomes disoriented and eventually is able to do nothing but succumb to the mobbing birds.

Animals have low-light vision.

Confusion (Ex) Confusion happens when the Dravens swarm in groups of ten or more on a medium size creature. Each round of swarming, the prey must make a Will save (DC 10 + 1 for every 5 birds over ten). Should the prey fail the save, they are unable to move or act for that round, and simply stumble around, flailing arms wildly whilst the Dravens make their peck and claw attacks.
