Tyxarans are small cat furred Fey. They have large feline ears and golden red fur and are very fond of anything shiny. Curious and excitable, they are very fast and intelligent but lack power, they make good spies or pickpockets.

Tyxarans are small cat furred people, standing at around 1'5''. They have large feline ears and golden red fur and their angular features are cat-like. They have long whiskers from their cheeks and eyebrows, large eyes(usually blue or green) and small, turned up noses. Being bipedal, their fore paws can work as hands. The species orignates from the dunes of the Avahesin deserts, literally no-winter. They are well adapted for desert life and have good fire and heat resistance but very low tolerance for cold. Tyxarans are naturally energetic, curious creatures, being both swift and intelligent but lacking in power. Though they are very sociable within their own race, they are naturally wary of the 'big-people' They are excessively adept at getting themselves into trouble, but also at getting out of it again. Swift of hand as well as tongue, they are often employed as spies and pickpockets. They are often mesmerised by jewels, gold, and riches.

Combat
Often severely lacking in power, tyxarans fight with their cunning more than their strength. They generally prefer missile weapons such as shurikens and tiny throwing knives, though will often wield a staff for melee combat. Tyxaran tactics tend to include wearing the enemy down with their seemingly limitless energy or leading them to an area where an easier death awaits them.

Tyxarans have the low-light vision of the Fey along with incredible speed and agility, they are adept at hiding themselves amongst their surroundings and would have good tracking qualities were they not so impatient. They hold a fire-affinity and are resistant to heat, but very weak before cold, ice or wind magics.

Society
Tyxarans live quite civilised tribal lives in their deserts, forming great 'moving cities' They are often black market traders in spices and jewellery. They hold a tight social structure within their tribes, but tribal views often conflict leading to inter-pride warfare. Tyxarans are curious yet wary of the 'big-people' and prefer not to socialise with them when they can help it.
