Giant black rabbit with red eyes. Hidden magical powers. It can be tamed and ridden. Acts as mount as well fighter. Intelligently talks, but is sometimes very sardonic. Born in the Shoikan Grove.

5'10 jet black rabbit. It has glowing red eyes and the mark of a red hourglass on its stomach. Has abilities in jumping and climbing. When it is tamed it is loyal to the one who has tamed it but it still very wild. Can be ridden. Also, it can cast spells if given spell components, but can sometimes do without. It fights with lightning strikes and will get tired out during continual fighting.

Nightshade lives in cold forests and plains. It travels by magic from its birthplace, the Shoikan Grove. Hence it can always travel back there without the least bit of a problem. It will eat anything that humans can eat. It will not eat garbage or any unedible thing. It lives in tree tops and deep burrows depending on the season. Look for giant rabbit marks on the ground and around trees. Be warned, it may sometimes jump down on you.

When it is not fighting Nightshade is a ferocious but strangely docile beast. IT is a good compainion to talk to or to listen to, for it tells great stories. It will oftentimes make sarcastic remarks but will never care when they are made back. It will preform small tasks and is really more a fighting companion than a dangerous beast. STill, one thing it demands is respect. ONe cannot treat it as a servant for it will turn on you.

Combat
Nightshade favors slashing strikes of it's raptor like claws. It also has sharp teeth that can crush an enemies armor and bone. It's long legs can also be effective weapons and to get through a crowded place it will strike out, bowling all it it's way over. It also uses magic frequently and naturally as it fights. Nightshade prefers lightning, summoning, and darkness spells.

Nightshade can see up to 60 feet in the dark and light, but things are clearer in the dark. It can teleport attackers to the Shoikan Grove with little or no effort.

Society
Nightshade is a solitary creature. It lives by itself when it is not journeying with its captor. It will get along amiably enough with others of its kind, but it likes living alone better. It gets along with smaller domestic beast very well as long as it gets fed.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
