Medium-sized undead w/challenge rating 2. Uses a bone whip. Also has regeneration, and damage reduction.

Torturing Souls look like ordinary skeletons except for their whips. When not fighting they are either standing guard of their territory or hunting for their enemies (explained below).

Combat
Torturing Souls carry whips that are made from finger bones with barbed ends that tear the flesh of its victims. They would prefer to use there whips and keep enemies at a distance, but they will use their hands if they have to.

Undead are immune to mind influencing effects and to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects, and necromatic effects. They are ignore mind influencing effects. They are not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, ability drain, or energy drain. They are immune to anything that requires a Fortitude save (unless it also workd on objects). Undead Spellcasters use their Charisma for Concentration checks. They are not at risk from death from massive damage, but when they are reduced to 0 hit points they are destroyed. Most undead have darkvision with a range of 60 feet. Undead can not be raised. A Torturing Soul can instantly summon two more Torturing Souls to give it aid. They regenerate 10 hit points per round unless damaged with a magical weapon, after which they can no longer regenerate. Torturing Souls negate 75% of all physical damage unless damaged by a weapon of +2 magical enchantment or greater.

Society
Torturing Souls were once prisoners that suffered for acts which they did not commit. Now they hate everything are destroy whatever lies in the way of them destroying the criminal which they suffered for. Most of these creatures are willing to do small deeds for even the slightest hint as to where their foe is.
