Blue draconic humanoids, Azurai are tireless warriors and cunning enemies.

Azurai are powerful, burly humanoids named for their blue skin. It is sometimes suggested that they are a sort of Blue Dragon offshoot-- something that the scaly patches and reptilian features commonly seen on Azurai support. The average Azurai male stands roughly six and a half feet tall, and weighs roughly two-hundred-and-seventy pounds.

Azurai are omnivorous, much like humans, but suffer no ill effects should they eat meat raw. Outside of combat, they live in small, tightly-knit communities made up of members of a single clan. They are highly mobile, and can pick up their campsites and move on before regular humans could even pack.

They can be found almost anywhere, assuming there is food and plunder available. As they rarely stay in one place enough to farm, they survive by raiding human and demi-human settlements for food.,Azurai are powerful, burly humanoids named for their blue skin. Combat
Fighting Azurai is a highly dangerous idea. Strong and powerful, it isn't uncommon for them to bull rush their opponents and slaying them before they can recover. Wrestling is a favorite past-time of Azurai, and they gleefully grapple and toss about their foes in battle. However, when fighting a stronger foe, they are well-known for drawing back and using absolutely brilliant battlefield tactics, such as the use of firebombs, snipers armed with crossbows, and more.

Low-Light Vision (Ex): A creature with low-light vision can see twice as far as a human in starlight, moonlight, torchlight, and similar conditions of shadowy illumination. It retains the ability to distinguish color and detail under these conditions.

Society
The Azurai race is primarily nomadic, wandering about in tight-knit clans. Many races that encounter them have come to fear them for their combat prowess, although some barbarian humans have made peace with them and learned some of the skills they have to offer. Their race possesses some of the finest craftspeople to be found, and their distinct, blackened and etched armor is easily recognizable. Clans rarely work together, however, and open warfare between two clans is very common. Each clan is led by a chieftain and a shaman, usually the chieftain being the most powerful and the shaman being the most intelligent.
