A kender's Familiar of sorts. The Pouch Companion is a kind of dragon. And it's so darn cute.

The Pouch Companion, is a little dragon, often brightly coloured, with big round eyes and floppy ears. It has little vestigal wings, and makes cute squeaking noises.

A Pouch Companion, while very interesting, eats items in a kenders pouch. It eats one tiny item a week, favoring shiny items, metals, or gems. A pouch companion has the ability to teleport between a kender's pouches, so nothing is safe, though several kender folk tales say that lining a pouch with silk will keep the pouch companion from teleporting in or out.

No one is quite certain where these creatures come from, though various speculations say they are from Vaasmarg, or from beneath Fizban's hat. Either way, the pouch companion is quite fond of the kender it lives with, and will sometimes help the kender find an item inside the pouch. On rare occasions, (e.g. the pouches are empty) the little dragon will come out of the pouch, and wander around looking for something to eat.

Pouch Companions Speak telepathically.

Pouch Companions grant any kender who has one, a +2 on charisma checks when trying to get people's attention because it's so darned cute.,The Pouch Companion, is a little dragon, often brightly coloured, with big round eyes and floppy ears. Combat
Pouch Companions ignore combat, unless threatened, or asked to help by the kender. One tale, states a kender took down a death knight, by using his pouch companion as a sling stone.

Dragons are immune to sleep and paralysis effects. Dragons have darkvision with a range of 60 feet and low-light vision.

Swallow Whole : This is for tiny items in a kender's pouch. Once per week the dragon must feed. If not fed, the dragon will leave the pouch.

Damage Reduction: 2/+10

Protective Aura : A kenders pouch that is holding a pouch companion, is immune to elemental, spell, and normal weapon damage.

Teleport : A Pouch Companion can teleport between a kender's pouches, unless the pouches are lined with silk. if placed within a silk pouch, the companion may not teleport out, though it can still open the pouch up and crawl out. While quite loyal, Pouch companions are sometimes confused and, to the kender's dismay, have teleported to another kender's pouches, if they are within 5 ft, though this is rare.

Society
As far as a Pouch Companion knows, it's the only one of it's kind. No one knows where they come from, but when multiple meet, they often dance, the most adorable little linedance you ever saw. Though living primarily inside a kenders pouch, they will often sit on their shoulder, or ride on their topknot.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is a kender type creature.
