This creature resembles a large tree, either oak or cedar, that is dusty and brittle, seeming from extensive heat and lack of water. The branches end in powerful, wicked looking claws. Red eyes gleam in its trunk.

Cedar spawn are trees animated by the chaotic powers of Chaos and the Daemon Lord. They resemble large, dry, brittle looking evergreens, though they can be created from any type of tree.

Although they do have some degree of intelligence, cedar spawn cannot speak. Combat
Cedar spawn can attack enemies in all directions. Because of their long branches, they have extended reach than what a large creature would normally have. A cedar spwan can attack up to 6 times in a round, but they cannot attack one creature more than 3 times. They slam enemies with their long branches.

Most cedar spawn like to lay in wait for enemies to walk through them, thinking they are a normal copse of trees.

Plants are immune to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, and polymorphing. They are not subject to flanking or criticals hits. Plants are blind with the blindsight special quality or they have lowlight vision. They are immune to mind influencing effects.

Entangle (Ex): As the spell cast by a 4th level druid. They can use this ability once per round. Cedar spawn cannot be entangled by other cedar spawn.

Creature of Chaos (Ex): The Cedar spawn is completely made from the very substance of Chaos. Only magical attacks, magical weapons with a +1 or greater enchantment or holy weapons will harm them. A person using a holy enchanted weapon automatically deals double damage to the Cedar spawn.

Incinerate (Ex): Because of their brittle nature and dried surface, cedar spawn are very susceptible to fire. They take double damage from all fire based attacks, whether magical or mundane. If a saving throw is allowed to nullify or half the damage, it is done so.

Society
Cedar spawn serve no purpose to the world except to Chaos. They act as scouts and specail ambush corp to his Legion.
