The Mirror Knight is a template that can be placed on any race. They have a usefull ability to turn any magical attack back to its sender.

Mirror Knights look like the base creature that they are made from. they wear jade-colored armor that has a mirror on the chest and back. They also have a small round mirror on each arm as a shield. This armor is a part of their body, but they can make it sink into their body so that they look normal.

Mirror Knights can only be created by spell-casters. They are created by a spell that is somewhat like creating a construct. The spell has verbal components and also requires a full sized mirror. Once the spell is cast on the person, he walks through the mirror and (presto!) becomes a Mirror Knight.

As Mirror Knights wear armor as a part of their body, spell-casters cannot be Mirror Knights.

Combat
Mirror Knights will generally fight in the same manner that they fought before they became Mirror Knights, but they gain a few added abilities. One of these is that they can turn their arm into a lance to attack. Another is their reflect attack. When someone attacks them with a ray or projectile-like spell (such as a fireball), they can absorb it in one of their shields, then use the other one to reflect it back at them.

The Mirror Knights ability to reflect attacks is an ability that can't be dispelled. Mirror Knights can take a full-round action which turns their whole body into a reflective surface. This makes them very difficult to spot from a distance. This ability, however, does not help if you walk past them and see your reflection. If any spell that does not produce a ray or projectile is cast on a Mirror Knight, the person who cast it will suffer the effects of the spell. For example, if someone casts Charm Person on a Mirror Knight, the caster will be charmed instead of the Knight.

Society
Mirror Knights fit in perfectly with the society of their base creature, unless they were an outcast before.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
