A rare and frightful sight, this creature is constructed from a twisted meld of bone and flesh. This undead monster can vary greatly in appearance, but the one commonality is its blazing red eyes. Those who see a Death Golem rarely live to tell about it.

When lying down, the Death Golem resembles a twisted pile of flesh and bones. It is often mistaken for a pile of corpses collected from a large battle. Closer inspection show the bones and flesh have melded together to form a giant huimanoid creature.

The can be found in any location, but most often near the sights of large battles with many casualties.

It arms usually end in four to six sharp claws, and sharp pointy bones protrude from various places on its body. Its actual appearance often is dependant on the creatures whose bones were used to create the Death Golem in the first place. Its eyes glow an eerie red.

Combat
The Death Golem feeds on fear, so as a result it will often attempt to incapacitate its foe with its presence. One it commences its attack, it will refuse to back down unless to face a more dangerous foe. It attacks without regard for itself, never bothering to dodge or parry. Instead it will go compleatly on the offensive. It prefers its clawing attack, but often enjoys finishing off its prey by goreing them with its shoulder spikes, impaling its prey in place.

Constructs are immune to mind influencing effects and to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, disease, death effects, and necromatic effects. They are not subject to critical hits, subdual damage, ability damage, ability drain, or energy drain. They are immune to anything that requires a Fortitude save (unless it also workd on objects). They are not at risk from death from massive damage, but when they are reduced to 0 hit points they are destroyed. Constructs can not be raised or ressurected. Constructs have darkvision with a range of 60 feet.

Frightful Presence (Ex) The Death Golem's appearance causes a strong, crippling fear to those in its presence. The fear is induced by the sight of the Death Golem, and is similar in intensity to Dragonfear.

Absorbtion (Ex) The Death Golem's most frightning power is to absorb the corpse of a recently defeated foe into its own body. The process takes between ten and fifteen seconds, and heals the Golem by half the victim's original hit points. Once compleated, the corpse cannot be distinguished from the rest of the Golem. For ever recently deceased victim it absorbs this way, its maximum hit points also increase by 1.

Scent (Ex) A gaging smell of death is constantly realeased by the Golem. Opponents must resist the urge to be sick each round, or they lose their initiative for the round.

Society
A rare an solitary creature, no social structure has ever been observed. To date, only two have been seen on the entire face of Krynn, one of which has been destroyed.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
