The Gorrith is one of the commanders of the legions of the Abyss. A hand maiden of Takhisis.
3.5 ready!
This abomination appears to be a living mass of blackish goo that constantly shifts and reforms around itself. It has two wicked looking claws that constantly change where they form from. There's a huge, gaping maw that could bite through most armor.
The Gorrith lives only for one reason-to serve Takhisis. The Gorrith resembles a huge, quivering mass of sludge. It has two large appendages that end in wickedly curved claws, and two other appendages that end in spheres of stone. It also has a large mouth that bites its victims.
Most Gorriths have a black hue to there mass of sludge. They're quite tall, standing as tall as ogres.
Gorriths carry no weapons to attack with, although there may be some in the bodies of the creature (victims of being eaten by the Gorrith).
The Gorrith speaks Abyssal, and it understands any other language, although it cannot speak it. The voice of the Gorrith is often guttural and hiss-sounding.
Combat
The Gorrith always attacks with its two claws followed by a bite attack. It can also use its slam attacks in a round if it doesn't bite or claw first.
If a Gorrith hits with one of its slamming appendages, it automatically makes a grapple check (+26). Those who are grappled take 3d6 damage from constriction each round they are held.
The Gorrith is only harmed by magical weapons. They also have a high spell resistance. Due to there sludgy body, Gorriths are immune to all bludgeoning weapons. They seem to just sink into the body of the demon.
Gorriths can detect any movement up to 120 feet away by tremors in the ground.
Society
Gorriths serve no function in the world. They only live to serve the Queen of Darkness, Takhisis. She often sends Gorriths on missions to retrieve enemies she wants to torture herself. Gorriths also seem to command small legions of lesser demons, such as Quasits, that the Queen sends as protection.
This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
