The dune runner is commonly used by goblins, kobolds and other small beings for use as pack animals. The dune runner's ability to move silently, climb and hide also lend itself for scouting and raiding parties.

Typically found in arid regions such as deserts and mountains, the dune runner travels and hunts smaller creatures in packs, much like wolves. They are extrememly fast runners and will chase their prey until exhaustion sets in, and then feed at their leisure.

Combat
The dune runner would rather escape than fight, and will use it's climbing and hiding skills, and it's high rate of movement to its advantage. If need be, it will climb to higher ground to gain an advantage in combat.

Dune runners have low-light vision.

Society
While the dune runner is a predetor, it is also prey for larger creatures that inhabit the inhospitible regions in which the dune runner is found.
