A semi-intelligent fungal lifeform intent on the destrustion of all humanoid life.

The Cherngai are a semi-intelligent race of fugal creature. Truly alien to life in the prime material plane, the Cherngai seek to eliminate all intelligence that is different then their own. It is said that they are driven by a hatred of life and seek entropy.

Combat
The Cherngai attack with their 4 rubbery tentacles, attempting to grab their prey. If successful they automatically constrict for 1d10 hit points of damage per round. Grabbed characters that have been grabbed can attempt to break free (DC 15). The Cherngai can also attempt to slam an opponent once per round.

The touch of the Chergai is filled with disease. Any character struck must make a successful Fortitude save (DC 15) or be infected. The disease causes 1d4 of temporary constitution damage per day. The Cherngai's body is spongy and difficult to damage, resulting in Damage Resistance (15/+1). Due to their alien form, they are immune to Sneak Attacks and Critical Hits.
