Like a troglodyte but nicer to humans, kender, and all other humanoids. They are usually the color of their surroundings, in lakes, rivers, ponds, and oceans.

This creatures lives in any aquatic area and enjoy the company of sea elves. They eat fish and aquatic plants. They make dens and small cities at the bottom of oceans and lakes. It likes to meet new people, especially people who can't breath water. They can sometimes be found outside of water traveling in small bands, for they have lungs and gill slits. They vary from sea-green to deep blue. They do prefer warmer waters but they do keep to the open ocean often. They have large crocodile like scales and they basically look like a weird mixof crocodile and human.

Combat
They like to rush up and bite opponents, scratching them and not letting go until one of his/her companions either shoots it with a longbow or kills with a sword or they kill it by suffocation. They do enjoy grasping the neck in their somewhat crocodile like jaws. They almost always attack in pairs or groups, leaving a small group away with bows when on land. They use spears in water instead of bows. Sometimes, they will imobolize enemies with a cone of cold breath, much like a white dragon.

Society
The society is ruled by an alpha male and alpha female. The rest of the caste system is much like that of wolves, but it is slightly less rigid. If you are born poor, you can become a highly respected scholar if you have the wits. Most noble men wear long robes of office as do their wives. The average family has about 3-7 members, two parents and rest are children. They are not hostile to ones of their own kind and they are usually not hostile to most other races, with the exception of the undersea version of orcs and trolls. Most become either bards or mages. Just because most other humanoids think that they are disgusting and evil does not mean that they don't have good singing voices. They are actually respected by most other races, even some dragons.

This creature has not yet been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
