A tall white rectangular pillar of sticky ooze.

The Mochi look like tall rectangular pillars of stone from afar but up close they are noticably sticky. They move relatively quickly and hunt down sources of heat to drain. They are drawn towards villages, fires and large groups of animals. They teleport (once a day) to surprise their foes or wait for them in snowy lands to come closer. If the latter happens then they extend an 'arm' and engulf them, draining the heat from their prey. They are always feeding and will generally attack anything that is alive.

Combat
It generally waits for a foe to get within 10 feet then will slam them. After it has slammed the foe into something, it will attempt to engulf the enemy. If successful it will procede to drain the heat from them causing 3d3+2dmg. A mochi will only teleport once per day if it has not had a suitable meal for a day.

Oozes are immune to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning, and polymorphing. They are not subject to flanking or criticals hits. Oozes are blind, but have the blindsight special quality. They are immune to mind influencing effects.
