A Nasty mini-Raptor that only thinks of one thing, Eating! They will even fall upon their wounded comrades in battle to dine.

A N'astigh walks mainly on its powerful rear legs, using its sizable tail to balance. N'astigh are a magical beast, and they can never fully satisfy their hunger. A pack of them can ravage a large area if not stopped. Thankfully, they are fairly rare. A N'astigh that hits with both of its claw attacks will bite. Alternatively, they will use their tail to try and trip their opponent then pounce on them.

It is rumored that a demented evil wizard created the N'astigh. They can be found mainly far from civilized areas, both because they tend to shy away from them (they get confused with too many things to eat are nearby) and because any civilized area will slaughter them to the last or be eaten!

Combat
The N'astigh prefer ambush but do not always have the patience to lie in wait. Often encounters with them are because those they encounter just happen to be in their path. They will each single out one opponent to attack and eat, but any creature falling nearby wounded will draw them from their target even mid combat! Their insatiable hunger is both their greatest asset and worst weakness.

N'astigh have low-light vision and darkvision with a range of 60 feet. Their bite conveys a venom which is a muscle relaxant. In small doses, this venom could be used for medicinal purposes.

Society
N'astigh do not have anything resembling a society. They are male until they reach maturity, and after some time (presumably when they have eaten enough) they become fertile females, and lay eggs. These eggs are coated with an acrid, pungent mucus to discourage the mother from eating them, and the mother exudes a pheromone which prevents the eggs or the young who stay near enough to her from being attacked by the others of the pack. When the young get large enough, the mother usually deserts them to avoid being attacked and eaten by them.

This creature has been play tested.
This is not a kender type creature.
