When the adventurers gather around the campfire they are tired and want to sleep. But suddently a gruop of small creatures jumps out from the fire. They're firespawns.

The firespawn lurks on the border between the elemental plane of fire and the prime material plane. They travell between these two planes by jumping out of, or in to, fires. When not jumping out of fires, these creatures are social and live with there familys. Sometimes alone firespawns can be encountered. A firespawn has the apperance of a dog with no hindlegs and arms instead of front legs. Firespawn have humaniod faces. Firespawn speaks Ignan and understands common. There is a 25% chance that one member of a family speaks Common.

Combat
The firespwn usually leap out of fires and attack with there bite and claw attacks. Finishing with a breath weapon and then leaping back into the fire again. They never attack if overnumbered.

Elementals are immune to to poison, sleep, paralysis, stunning. Elementals are not subject to flanking or criticals hits. They have darkvision with a range of 60 feet. Elementals can not be raised or ressurected but can come back with a wish or miracle spell.

A firespawn has a breath weapon: line of fire dealing 1d6 fire damage.

A firespawn heals 1d8 damage per round spent inside a fire and on the elemental plane of fire.

If a firespwn leaps into a fire he can planeshist between the elemental plane of fire and the prime material plane.
