Hoopak of the Dragons

Description: This weapon looks like an ordinary hoopak. However, the slingshot end is replaced by a dragon's head. The dragon's head is painted a greenish-bronze, with big white teeth, ivory horns, and flaming red eyes.
History: This actually belongs to my brother, Territhwistle Jingleheim. He says that he found it atop Reorx's Forge on a trip to the outer planes. He says it spoke to him and asked him to take it. It told him about its powers. It won't talk to me, though. I don't think it likes me much.
How it Works: This hoopak does several things.
1) If you put an ordinary sling stone into the dragon's mouth, then speak the command word (Ktzimando!), the stone is launched from the mouth, flaming, and explodes on impact! (Each stone is a FIRE SEED of the acorn type, rate of fire 5/2)
2) If you thump the dragon head on the ground three times anmd call, "Helphyonis!", the hoopak transforms itself into an Ancient red dragon! It functions as a dragon in every possible way, but it can only be active for 16 minutes at a time. If it is destroyed in staff form, the hoopak is totally destroyed. |
